, the leading supplier of materials handling distribution products on the East Coast, is seeking a motivated Entry-Level IT Help Desk Technician to join their team in Frederick, MD . If you have your associate's degree or technical school certificate in IT, or have a relevant certification (CompTIA A+, Microsoft , etc.) , Werres wants to hear from you! In this role, you will be r esponsible for providing a first-level response to all computer hardware and software-related inquiries via multiple methods. Acknowledge and respond to tickets and escalate to appropriate teams and tiers as required . Provide additional support with Patching and Anti-virus updates and assist in the management of computer assets. Some of the benefits to you:

Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming tickets, completing and tracking issues in a timely fashion.
- Document new information in detail to the internal knowledge base.
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve computer hardware and software issues
- Identify common issues and escalate them to management
- Manage Antivirus and respond to alerts. Check on risk issues
- Provide support to remote employees
- Install hardware/software, and windows patches along with Anti-Virus updates.
- Create and manage employee active directory, email and phone system accounts
- Handle onboarding/offboarding tasks, which include the following:
- Imaging a computer
- Create User accounts and provisioning access
