ENTRY-LEVEL MECHANICAL ENGINEERFull Job DescriptionAi-Alt is seeking a talented, and motivated Entry-level Mechanical Engineer with excellent analytical and technical capabilities for the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for our building design projects.Duties As an Entry-level Mechanical Engineer you will be able to spend your first few months diving into specific assignments that will help develop your technical skills while assisting and be trained by senior member of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) team involving the following tasks: Develop conceptual designs, select equipment, perform calculations and energy audits, and prepare drawings and specifications for HVAC system projects. Make project site visits to document existing systems and gather existing Owner documentation. Complete construction phase services, including submittal reviews and punch lists. Interact closely with architects and electrical/structural engineers through all project phases. Work in Revit software to develop construction documents and incorporate design changes. Perform building conditions evaluations and prepare reports. Perform energy code compliance analyses using ComCheck software. Requirements Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering MSc in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required 0-3 years experience in designing HVAC systems Excellent communication skills Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team Revit MEP experience is a plus, training will be provided EIT preferred but not required Compensation Information Base salary range: USD $60,000 - $72,000 annually
