More than half of our job openings are filled by internal promotion, and we encourage TEAM Members to gain a variety of experiences across different functional groups.Job DescriptionThe Packer is responsible for packing the appropriate number of frozen corndogs in boxes using proper equipment and procedures.Pay is $13.15 hr.
- Works closely with the department supervisors, other department leads and processing employees, in order to accomplish accuracy within the processing department and to ensure that our customers receive quality products.
- Visually inspect and grade product to determine grade for production lines.
- Communicate with Supervision, Lead personnel, and co-workers for assistance regarding assigned task(s), rotation, and production issues.
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform repetitive grasping; work in a cold, damp environment.
- Some positions required lifting 15 to 45 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Some position may require to be able to push or pull 5 to 45 pounds.
- Some positions require repeated bending and stooping.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8-10 hrs.) on concrete/metal grated floor.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check and drug test
