We are looking for the right person to fill the role of Procurement Specialist whose primary responsibility is to serve as the point of contact for clients regarding their hardware orders and providing updates on order status, addressing any discrepancies. As a member of our Operations team, a Procurement Specialist is responsible for facilitating purchases from outside suppliers.? The role of Procurement Specialist involves responsibilities such as supplier management, quality assurance, and inventory management.? The Procurement Specialist manages the procurement process to ensure it is cost effective, efficient and in compliance with established company policies and procedures.? Important Attributes for a BECA Procurement Specialist:
- Assisting with providing quotes
- Handling all aspects of order processing, including verifying client requirements and processing transactions
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products that meet client specifications
- Partner with Client Success to ensure quotes are accurate and processed in a timely manner
- Partner with Operations to ensure invoicing is correct and tickets/projects are open if applicable
- Maintain accurate inventory records for client hardware and ensure that stock levels are sufficient to meet client

- Serve as the point of contact for clients regarding their hardware orders and providing updates on order status
- Preparing and managing all necessary documentation related to orders
- Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the ordering process
And of course, your technical skills! This should include:
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Ticketing System and/or CRM - Configurations, time tracking, documentation, updates, opportunities
- Knowledge of supply chain management systems and databases
- Knowledge with technical hardware
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports via Excel
- Software as assigned
As a BECA Procurement Specialist, we're counting on you to:
- Ensure the procurement process is cost-effective and efficient
- Documentation tools (IT Glue)
- Communication tools (Microsoft Office & Teams)
- Monitor the quality of products received from suppliers
- Ensure orders are accurate and received in a timely manner
- Quarterly and Annual OKRs
