A leading International Freight Forwarder near Columbus, OH is in need of Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The right candidate will have 1 year of Shipping and Receiving Coordinator experience in the logistics or manufacturing industries.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities Include:Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materialsPrepare and file Domestic and International Export / Import documentationResponsible for packing for export shipmentsExamine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipmentsProvide necessary reports to managementPerform other job duties as neededShipping Coordinator Requirements Include:Associates' degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experienceShipping, Receiving Freight Forwarder, Logistics experience is a plusExcellent Communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)Advanced level of Microsoft EXCEL skill is requiredMust be able to work responsibly, effectively, and independently when neededTeamwork skills are a MUST!Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environmentOrganizational and time management skillsWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
