ASSOCIATE - ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY & RESOURCESAnchorage, AKOur client, a top AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated mid-level Associate to join their Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources practice group in Anchorage, Alaska.Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Alaska, or the ability to obtain admission, is required.
- 2-5 years of relevant legal experience in energy, environmental, or natural resources issues.
- Judicial clerkship experience and/or demonstrated interest in environmental law is preferred.
- Strong legal writing skills with experience in law review/journal or prior clerkship.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on complex natural resources, environmental, and commercial issues for resource development companies.
- Collaborate with a nationwide team of attorneys in the firm's Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources practice group.
- Represent clients in sophisticated legal matters at both the local and national levels.
