Position Summary:
The EHS Manager is responsible for driving EHS and risk management excellence at the site level, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate standards. This role leads EHS and risk management programs, promotes a safe work culture, and implements strategies to mitigate risks, aligned with corporate EHS objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee EHS compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS and security issues.
- Support safety regulatory compliance and update safety programs.
- Manage environmental and safety reporting, site metrics, and trend analysis.
- Serve as the EHS liaison with regulatory agencies and internal teams.
- Maintain plant safety systems (SDS, PPE, LOTO, and first aid).
- Assist with worker's compensation programs and injury management.
- Conduct safety orientations, audits, and site visits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in OSHA/EPA regulations, risk assessment, and hazard mitigation.
- Leadership, strategic planning, and strong technical EHS skills.
