Through our Developing Professionals Network, interns gain mentorship, networking opportunities and lifelong career connections.Our Earth and Environment Team is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Geology Intern – Summer 2025 to work out of our Marlton, NJ office. This temporary position is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.This internship will be part of the WSP Summer Internship Program. As a summer intern, you have the opportunity to participate in our 12-week program scheduled to start on May 19th, 2025. The individual start date of the internship may be flexible.Your ImpactWorking part of Site Investigation and Remediation teamLearn about the SUPERFUND processAssist field staff at project sites in support of remediation, due diligence, compliance, monitoring, and constructionAssist with preparation of project deliverables such as proposals, reports, figures, graphs, and tablesCompetent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.Who You AreRequired QualificationsActively enrolled in an accredited geology/hydrogeology/environmental science, or related, undergraduate (juniors or seniors preferred) or graduate program.Must be 18 or older.Demonstrated interest in geology/hydrogeology/environmental science, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP's work and projects.The ability to work full-time (40 hours per week; approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Monday to Friday) this summer for approximately 3 months; field work days may be longerGood academic standing (transcript required)Safely performing work, in the office and potentially in the field. Fieldwork may occur in all seasonal weather conditions, using equipment (with an ability to lift and move approximately 50 pounds without assistance), and operating vehicles on behalf of the company.Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.Must be able to pass a HAZWOPER physicalPreferred QualificationsActively enrolled in an accredited geology/hydrogeology/environmental science, or related, Masters or PhD program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.About WSPWSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
