Job Overview
The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.
We're looking for performance-driven, innovative students who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. This role will focus on support for all aspects of manufacturing based EHS from compliance to new program development. The core responsibility for the EHS Intern student is to participate with the corporate EHS team and perform tasks as assigned to meet compliance support, project objectives and departmental goals.

A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:
+ Works under immediate supervision of more experienced staff
+ Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines, and engineering knowledge to perform functions of the job
+ Participates in program development for uniformity and compliance purposes
+ Assists facilities with implementation of EHS related ISO standards
+ Participates in and conducts EHS audits with peers and management
+ Actively involved in the EHS program implementation process
+ Leads small projects, as assigned, support department goals
+ Receives direct assistance on difficult tasks
What will help you thrive in this role?
+ Enrollment in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's related to the internship (required)
+ Working toward BS in EHS Management, or equivalent with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Competent with Microsoft Office
- Effective oral and written communication
- Task planning skills with ability to prioritize effectively
- Troubleshooting skills
- Candidate must be a self-motivated problem solver, eager to learn, and operate with limited supervision
Expectations: The intern will be expected to work full-time at 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
Compensation Range: $22.50/hour - $29.00/hour (dependent upon graduation date)
