The primary objective of this position is to provide program management for the Health and Safety programs at the company's facility. This position ensures that Occupational Safety and Health protection remain as a core value in the culture of the site.

What The Job Entails
- Management of the site Safe to Work Permit Programs and Industrial Hygiene Program
- Management of the site Safety and Health Audits, Inspections and Incident Investigation Programs
- Management of the general employee Safety and Health programs such as medical surveillance and construction safety
- Oversight of all regulatory records and reports associated with the site Health and Safety Programs
- Work with Technical Services to ensure compliance with the site PSM program and regulations
- Ensure regulatory reports are filed on time for site Health and Safety programs
- Maintain compliance with all existing site Health and Safety permit programs, including: Hot work, lock out tag out, confined space, line/process entry, and excavation
- Function as a liaison between the company and State or Federal OSHA regarding site Safety and Health items
- Supervise site contractors whose work can have an impact on the facility Health and Safety compliance
Our ideal candidate
- BS/MS in safety, health or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health Program implementation and management; preferably with 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR Part 1910 and 1926, General Safety and Health programs, PSM, and regulatory reporting.
