This is a unique opportunity for you to begin your career with a proven leader in the hot-mix asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and construction materials industry.Perform environmental audits to ensure regulatory and corporate compliancePerform on-site permit compliance evaluations of RMC, HMA, and mining operationsPrepare regulatory environmental permit applicationsPrepare audit findings reports for distribution to operations managementAssist the environmental managers with routine aspects and continuous improvement initiativesHelp facilitate community relations and sustainability initiativesPrepare reports for submission to regulatory agenciesHelp maintain and update the online environmental management systemPrepare, revise, and/or update emergency spill prevention and response plansPerform various administrative tasksAny other duties as assignedWhat We Are Looking For:Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college majoring in an environmental or engineering, or similar science/technical program. A student that will complete his/her sophomore or junior year is required. We will also consider a senior who will be pursuing a master's degree.Proficient knowledge of applicable tools and technologies to be used on the job including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
