We invite you to apply to be a part of our University community!Job DescriptionResponsible for the day to day management of the Idaho State University EML Laboratory which performs radioanalytical work the State of Idaho's Department of Environmental Qualities (IDEQ) INL Oversight Program.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain high quality QA and Data generationMaintain all radiation detection instrumentation and other laboratory equipment.Serve as a technical consultant on environmental sampling to the INL Over-site programContribute to on-time high quality data and QA report generationMentor studentsSupport academic programsMinimum QualificationsB.S. in Health Physics, Physics, Chemistry or Nuclear EngineeringSubstantial integrated radio-analytical laboratory experience with knowledge, operational understanding, and basic maintenance and repair skills applicable to every type of radiation detection and laboratory equipment commonly used in radio-analytical labsPreferred QualificationsExtensive laboratory experienceM.S. in Health PhysicsAdditional InformationYou must submit your CV/resume, cover letter, and list of three (3) professional references, including current contact information.
