WE ARE HIRING!

AtkinsRalis is seeking an Environmental Planner to join our NEPA Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Jacksonville, FL at the FDOT Jacksonville Urban Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepares all or part of technical reports.

* Visits project sites and gathers data.

* Works with local governments and planning organizations.

* Analyses social, cultural, physical, and environmental impact of projects.

* Provides written and graphic input for technical memos, feasibility studies, environmental reports, and project status reports.

* Coordinates graphic exhibit preparation and/or other portions of a planning project.

* Coordinates technical work requirements with internal disciplines.

* Provides feedback and answers questions at public meetings.

* Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

* EXPERIENCE: Two years' experience since Bachelor's or one year since Master's.

* EDUCATION: Bachelors or Masters degree in planning or related field.

* SPECIAL SKILLS:

* Technical writing, computer, and communications skills desired.

* Experience with GIS, CADD, or other computer based spatial design software is preferred.
