About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Environmental Planner to join our team in Seattle, WA, with the flexibility for hybrid remote work. In this role, you will support various client projects, focusing on regulatory review processes, land use approvals, and market research. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed reports, conducting research and analysis, and managing key aspects of project delivery. You will be involved in the development of comprehensive documentation, managing subcontractor teams, and contributing to client engagement, proposal development, and marketing efforts for new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in urban planning, environmental sciences, geography, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in environmental assessments, including SEPA/NEPA reviews and planning processes.
  • Preferred: Certification from AICP or a similar professional planning body.
  • Proven experience in preparing technical reports, conducting research, and managing SEPA/NEPA document preparation, including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Addendums, and Environmental Assessments (EA).
  • Skilled in developing client proposals, managing business relationships, and contributing to marketing strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on delivering clear presentations and client communications.
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of high-quality, error-free project delivery.
