Job Description:

What You'll Do

* Primary responsibilities providing technical expertise and supporting Environmental staff both within a branch and within a region

* Leading and coaching junior Environmental staff members

* Mentoring Environmental Associate Principals

* Participation in the review committee for candidates who seek Associate Principal designation (Environmental)

* Responsibilities include performing the following at both the office and regional levels:

* Overseeing projects

* Performing technical report reviews

* Preparing proposals

* Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions

If you are hired into an Assessment & Remediation focused role:

* Groundwater and soil investigations

* Risk Assessments and Hydrogeologic Studies

* Remediation System Design, underground storage tank assessment and remediation assessments

* Brownfield consulting services

If you are hired into a Natural Resources focused role:

* Conducting and managing wetland and natural resource projects

* Substantial experience in 404/401 permitting, specifically Nationwide Permits and General Permits; knowledge of Individual Permits are a plus

* Experience conducting Threatened and Endangered Species Assessments is a plus

* Experience performing NEPA assessments and documentation is a plus

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Natural Resources/ Forestry, Soil Science, Hydrology/Hydrogeology

* Professional Engineer (P.E.), Professional Wetlands Scientist (PWS), or Professional Geologist (P.G.)

* At least 12 years of professional environmental experience

* Regulatory relationship with local regulatory agency, Miami-Dade County Environmental Resources Management is required
