Job Description:
This national employee-owned consutling firm a talented and motivated Project Level Environmental Engineer to join the team in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and executing environmentalprojects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Responsibilities:
Manage environmental projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting. Conduct environmental assessments, site investigations, and remediation activities. Prepare and review technical reports, environmental impact assessments, and permit applications. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients on environmental regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including scientists, engineers, and regulatory agencies, to achieve project objectives. Perform fieldwork, data collection, and analysis to support project deliverables. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends. Foster client relationships, identify business opportunities, and participate in proposal development efforts.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Washington or ability to obtain within six months. Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, MTCA). Experience managing environmental projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communications. Proficiency in environmental assessment techniques, remediation technologies, and risk assessment methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
