Job Description:
ACC Environmental Consultants has an opportunity for a detail oriented, well organized, dependable Environmental Project Manager, for our Oakland/NorCal location. This mid-level, full-time position requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to learn. This position is a combination of field and office work with a heavy focus on project management, data evaluation and reporting. This position requires some travel. Anticipated travel amount is up to 20%. Successful Candidates Should Have:
  • Preferred 4-6 years of relevant experience. Experience required.
  • Familiar with environmental site investigations, soil vapor/groundwater/soil/indoor air sampling, assessment, characterization, and data quality review/date evaluation.
  • Provides support, including client and subcontractor management, data interpretation and preparation of technical documents with supporting documentation such as data tables and figures.
  • Manages requests from with various stakeholders.
  • Must be willing to travel within the state of California.
  • Oral and written communications are very important for this position.
  • Sound decision making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail oriented and strong organization skills.
  • Proven ability to perform in a high volume, time sensitive/deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at a given time.
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
  • OSHA 40-hour Hazmat training a plus.
  • Proficient with several computer applications including MS Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
