A Waste and Recycling Company in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Environmental Protection Manager (EPM). In this role, you will collaborate with corporate management to develop and update Corporate Environmental Policies and Procedures. You will also provide technical guidance to divisions on company environmental compliance and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards.*Develop environmental programs, management systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.*Provide guidance and training to division managers and staff for implementing environmental programs across operating locations.*Maintain a regulatory database and offer interpretation and guidance on emerging regulatory changes.Act as a liaison with regulators at local, state, and federal agencies.*Coordinate compliance management systems and provide relevant communication and training to staff.*Monitor environmental compliance status, conduct internal audits, and report findings to corporate management.*Work collaboratively with operational and technical staff to prepare regulatory reports and permit applications.*Administer and coordinate waste review and approval programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Job RequirementsRequirements: *A Bachelor's Degree in engineering or environmental sciences.*Experience transcribing figures between the DEC or EPA required.*Previous experience working at DEC or EPA preferred.*Experience transcribing figures with landfill dumpers preferred.*At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in waste management or the environmental field.*Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations applicable to the solid waste industry
