Environmental Safety Inspector & Trainer

Position Description: Engineering and Information Technologies, Inc. (EIT) is looking for an Environmental Occupational Safety and Health Specialist for planning and conducting safety inspections and training in compliance with OSHA requirements on site at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Technical Center adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport, Pomona, NJ. Performance of the job requires walking, standing, bending, climbing and carrying small light objects. The suitable candidate must be medically fit to wear a respirator.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 24 college credits of classes in these areas: public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, industrial psychology, health and safety, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, etc.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience conducting safety inspections, safety training or hearing conservation programs in work areas, laboratories, offices, industrial areas etc.
