LaBella Associates is looking for an entry-level Environmental Scientist / Geologist / Enbginner to join our Environmental group in our Brooklyn, NY office.
Duties
* Performing field work within the 5-boroughs and throughout the NYC metropolitan area.
* Performing soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling.
* Performing / overseeing field activities and drilling on construction projects.
* Performing Phase I inspections.
* Collecting, recording, and organizing field data in a concise manner.
* Data presentation, map creation, and report preparation.
* Preparing deliverables on time and within budget.
* Maintaining open communication with project team members.
* Supporting various environmental projects to ensure their successful planning, implementation, and completion.
* Representing the company in a professional manner and in line with firm's core values.
* Conducting work to professional standards and following firm's QA/QC policy.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental specialists, engineers, contractors, and government agencies, to achieve project objectives.
* Collecting and analyzing environmental data, preparing reports, and communicating project progress, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
* Maintaining accurate project documentation, including environmental assessments, permits, reports, and correspondence, and ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.
