Role description: Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Scientist Intern to support an expanding portfolio of projects in our New York, NY office in Winter 2025 (January 2025). Working as part of our Environmental team, you'll help improve quality of life. With your specialism in environmental science, your work could involve permitting & impact assessments and stakeholder engagement. And in some of the world's busiest and most beautiful locations. The role sits within our global business area Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Role accountabilities: The position will include, but is not limited to, activities such as:
- Environmental compliance permitting
- Data analyses (i.e., statistical, GIS)
- Support development of permit/construction-level drawings and details
- Office-based support of active construction projects (e.g., submittal reviews, field change documentation, site layout information)
Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and be proficient with Microsoft office. The candidate will have a strong desire to pursue a career in environmental consulting. Qualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science or comparable scientific discipline.
