Join our team at the new St. Johnland 100-bed Assisted Living facility in Kings Park. Help us meet the needs of a growing community of seniors.

Primary duties are maintaining a clean, safe environment for all residents, visitors and team members while adhering to infection control policies and safety protocol.

Daily tasks include dusting, sweeping and mopping of floors, vacuuming, polishing furniture, cleaning restrooms and trash removal. Also the use of equipment for floor maintenance when needed.

· Assist in the environmental needs of residents, visitors and staff as requested.

· May provide assistance to grounds department during inclement weather.

Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Must be able to do moderate lifting (50 lbs.).
• Frequent bending and walking are required.
• Experience in long term care preferred
• Experience in floor care preferred but not required

Pay: $16.32 - $17.95 per hour
