Position Overview We are seeking an Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeping) to join our team! The Environmental Services Associate performs general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, restrooms, sterile areas, floors, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the hospital. This is a fulltime position, working Mon-Fri and rotating weekends. Responsibilities

  • Conducts job duties in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Fills and cleans dispensers, maintains and replenishes supplies, and mixes chemicals as necessary Properly cleans equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of all department check-off lists
  • Maintain housekeeping closet
  • Advises supervisor of any equipment problems
  • Complies with hospital, departmental, and unit standards, including but not limited to safety, infection control, quality management, environmental, confidentiality, and patient care
  • Identifies changes/abnormal findings in department and communicates these to appropriate personnel
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent preferred
  • Housekeeping experience in a hospital setting preferred
