- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
- Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
- Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
- Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
- Focus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standards.
- Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement.
- Manage service recovery as needed.
- Foster a culture of commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization.
- Participate in team and individual employee training.
- Participate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry.
- Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.
- Follow all time keeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clocking, etc.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
- 1 + years of experience in healthcare. Preferred
- 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field. Preferred
