What does an Environmental Services Supervisor do?
* Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of all chemicals and equipment used by the Environmental Services department. Ability to understand all information on MSDS sheets and have them available in case of a chemical accident.
* Effectively conducts initial safety training to new employees and provide ongoing safety education for all Environmental Services staff.
* Creates daily work schedules at least three days in advance ensuring that employees are rotated through the different duties. Ability to maintain effective coverage of the entire Resort.
To be successful as an Environmental Services Supervisor, you'll need:
* Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in commercial/hospitality cleaning field
* OSHA and MSDS training.
* A valid NYS Driver's license may be required; may be required to transport supplies/equipment and clean offsite.
* Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
