Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas in the time allotted.
- Cleaning duties include sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, fans, dry & wet mopping, wiping horizontal and vertical surfaces, high dusting, edging, vacuuming, trash pickup in both clinical and non-clinical rooms, hallways, and stairwells.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment, such as, but not limited to, vacuum sweeper, auto scrubber, battery operated vacuum, carpet extractor, etc.
- Adherence to all hospital and department safety training, policies, and procedures.
- Relate to others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner.
- Strict compliance with maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, but not required.
- Previous healthcare housekeeping or janitorial experience desirable, but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have basic computer skills.
