DescriptionNEW base rates starting at $16.00/hourHours: 7:30am - 4:00pm The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for St. Mary's residents, staff, and visitors. They are responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas in the Home. RequirementsThe successful candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one (1) year experience working as a floor tech, in environmental services, maintenance, or a related field
- Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Essential Functions include:
- Wet mops bathrooms and wipes off baseboards
- Empties wastepaper baskets/trash cans
- Cleans mirrors
- Polishes or dusts all furniture
- Cleans bathroom fixtures thoroughly
- Vacuums any carpets in assigned area
- Arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion
- Replenishes supplies of soap, toothpaste, etc.
- Keeps utility storage rooms in order
- Checks corners on the ceilings to keep cob webs under control
- Cleans windows and glass doors
- Dusts and cleans all televisions
- Cleans conference rooms, Board Room, lounges, and break room
- Keeps mop buckets clean
- As needed, responds to special cleaning requests from supervisor, Nursing staff or other departments
