We empower our team with opportunities for meaningful careers in a supportive environment.Position Overview:As an Environmental Specialist, you'll ensure fuel facilities meet the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance. This full-time, field-based role includes maintaining regulatory standards across multiple locations, conducting inspections, and offering on-call spill response support. Some office work will also be required.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly inspections to ensure equipment complies with NYS DEC, EPA, and company standards.
- Conduct operations and maintenance checks on spill prevention and fuel equipment.
- Track and record monthly cathodic protection readings.
- Schedule repairs or replacements for equipment not meeting regulatory standards.
- Review inspections, address environmental concerns promptly, and ensure compliance across sites.
- Provide on-call 24-hour support for spill response and advise customers on compliance procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, troubleshooting technical issues when necessary.
- Potential for traveling to customers across NYS which would require overnight stays.

- Technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in various weather conditions, and travel to multiple locations.
- Valid NYS Driver's License, with HAZWOPER certification preferred (not required).
- Basic computer skills and the ability to perform essential math and record-keeping tasks.
