Position: Environmental Technician Location - Trenton NJ 08625 with various field locations (Hybrid) Duration: 8 Month Detailed Job Description (including skills/education/experience/duties): This position will act as a liaison between the NJ Forest Service and NJ Environmental Justice municipalities.Duties will include: - Develop partnerships at local level with NJ municipalities, focusing on NJ EJ designated communities to increase sustainable and equitable impact from NJUCF program. -Assist with outreach, strategic programming and technical assistance to NJ local governments, with a focus on equity and environmental justice in urban and community forestry work. -Assist with program communications, education and training with local governments, grantees, volunteers, and other stakeholders -Data entry, management and analysis of grant program and reporting -Other duties as necessary Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
