You will be provided with a cell phone/tablet as well as all tools necessary to perform your job.SummaryThe Environmental Testing Technician is responsible for performing testing and determining issues of Underground Storage Tank (UST) equipment designed to reduce the chance of a release of petroleum into the environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct periodic testing and evaluation of UST components
- Carry out the testing of all engineered equipment including spill buckets, overfills devices, tanks and lines, sumps, leak detectors, and cathodic protection
- Fill out completed test forms and submit to supervisor
- Operate specific testing equipment according to EPA guidelines
- Maintain company vehicles
- Perform monthly/annual walk-throughs as assigned
Competencies:To perform this job successfully, an individual must have demonstrated experience in the following competencies and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Requirements
- A minimum of a high school diploma/GED
- Experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education
- Valid Driver License, with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret and understand necessary training manuals.
- Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen
