We have now opened an expression of interest for Home Care Registered Nurse in various location in Regional SA. This will be an opportunity to join our Health Care Services team on a casual basis. The Registered Nurse is also expected to work closely with other members of the Country Home Care Services team to achieve a consumer centred approach to meet client needs and preferences. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse, the Home Care Registered Nurse is responsible for both overseeing nursing care tasks undertaken by care workers (including training and assessment) and the direct delivery of comprehensive nursing care to clients. The Registered Nurse is required to apply their extensive clinical knowledge in all aspects of care.
This role is responsible for applying competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve quality client outcomes. This includes providing leadership, supervision, co-ordination, delegation, and oversight of credentialed nursing tasks to Care Workers.
**To be considered for these opportunities, it is essential you possess the following:**
The successful candidate will have a current registration and practicing certificate with APRRA as a Registered Nurse. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
/ Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse
/ The ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively
/ well-developed, assessment and case management skills
/ Sound knowledge of clinical documentation and Registered Nurse accountability requirements
/ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
/ Good time management skills
/ Computer literacy in a Windows environment
/ Current Drivers Licence
/ A reliable motor vehicle
/ Willingness to obtain a police clearance & DCSI for vulnerable and elderly clients
