: Job Details :

Responsible for on-site installation, troubleshooting, repairs, or replacing parts and components on power generation related systems, generators, engines, transfer switches, UPS and switchgear systems. Also responsible for fuel polishing and load bank testing systems as needed in order to respond to customer needs in a positive and timely manner and to ensure the customer receives maximum value for the work performed. Essential functions, duties, and responsibilities:All essential functions, duties, and other responsibilities will be performed following safety guidelines/practices and be in support of the Company's Mission, Vision, and Principles Statements and will include the following: Perform all levels of repair and preventive maintenance on power generation assemblies. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give repair recommendations, and make all critical power generator application repairs and adjustments. Diagnose, troubleshoot, test and repair UPS and switchgear systems and related engine failures. Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies. Conduct generator pre-start and start-ups in accordance with the manufacturer checklist. Use resistive load bank equipment for testing and repair of generators. Write full reports on finding from field service events with clear, concise, and detailed information. Communicate effectively and professionally with customers on their repairs. Maintain work area, tools and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment. Create a work environment that is considerate of the customer's needs. Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads, available for after-hours calls as needed.Other duties and responsibilities:All employees are required to be productive during working time, and to support the overall operation of the business. Any employee may be assigned to any work outside his or her job classification on an as-needed basis, so long as the employee is qualified to perform the work. Upon request, employees will participate in cross-training to enable them to support other segments of the business.
