The Epic Lead Cadence Analyst is responsible for project management across applications and coaching/mentoring other analysts on complex projects/issues. Leads by example and possesses solid analytical capabilities with excellent customer service skills. Must be effective at leading a team in the planning, development, and implementation of application features or enhancements. Collaborates with the IT Director on prioritizing work, timelines, and ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.
Job Essentials
- Greater than 1-year experience with Epic
- At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare IT setting
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and customer support skills
- Able to remain flexible and adaptable with respect to changing end-user needs
- Able to demonstrate critical thinking through the willingness to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible
- Able to remain dependable through the willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Able to demonstrate initiative through the willingness to recognize assignments or tasks that need to be completed, seek out additional assignments or tasks, and help others
- Able to demonstrate commendable interpersonal skills through the ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts
- Able to demonstrate learning through the ability and willingness to learn new software and systems
- Able to apply listening skills to ensure that the intended message has been accurately received, holding responses until the person has finished making his/her point, and repeating information to ensure accuracy
- Able to execute problem-solving skills through logically examining and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and prevent its recurrence
- Able to demonstrate resilience through persevering in difficult situations, overcoming obstacles, and reaching high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Access, Office Suite, PowerPoint, Project Professional, Outlook) and web browsers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required or currently enrolled to graduate within 9 months of hire.
- Certification in a core Epic application is required.
