The Epic System Director coordinates relevant application teams, including the deployment of Epic, issue and risk elevation, coordination with project managers, and post live may support formaintenance and optimization. They provide an additional level of coordination and communication. Post live they may continue to support and grow the analyst team.

Salary Range $100,528.00 - $165,872.00

Essential Functions

Strategic and Operational Planning

+ Understand the strategic initiatives of the implementation, but do not lose sight of the detailed tasks.

+ Foresee the needs of the teams and work to proactively address them.

Planning and Program Development

+ Maintaining the scope, schedule and quality of the project in their areas.

+ Working closely with the project managers to coordinate activities.

+ Ensures stakeholder community is engaged in the project.

+ Assisting the application analysts in their respective areas.

+ Reviewing the progress of the project on an ongoing basis with the Project Executives and others.

+ Evaluate skills of team members and uses them effectively.

Educational Leadership

+ Support analysts and ensure they have the necessary training that they need.

+ See the positive in what is new, do not focus on what it does not do.

+ Provide perspective on common challenges and strategies for success.

+ Educates on the best way to resolve problems and move the project forward.

Hospital-wide Leadership

+ Motivate team members.

+ Appropriately match team members skills to team responsibilities.

+ Show appreciation for teams efforts.

+ Reinforce the importance of the project together with executives and the project director and provides consistent communication to the project team.

+ Motivate the team members and show appreciate for their work.

Patient Safety

+ Ensure actions of the team are always in the best interest of the patients.

+ Understands patient confidentiality is always a must.

+ Is aware of their and the teams surroundings to ensure patient care is not disrupted.

Education

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Required

Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

Experience: 4- 6 Years of relevant experience required
