Miraval Berkshires, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, team-centered, and forward-thinking individuals for the role of Equine Barn Staff.
About the Department:
We pride ourselves on our vast program offerings which includes Outdoor Adventure, Fitness, Yoga, Meditation, Specialists, Culinary, Equine, Farm and Creative Expressions. Our goal is to infuse the Miraval Ethos into our group experiences and offer tools through team building to improve personal and professional relationships beyond these walls.
About the Position:
The Equine Barn Staff Position includes daily barn duties assigned by our Equine Lead - program support which includes programming setup & breakdown, feeding, watering, turning in/out and rotating horses, grooming, mucking stalls, receiving feed and hay deliveries, customer service, and specialized equine projects as needed. The expectation is that the chosen candidate will bring energy, a willingness to grow, creative ideas, and commitment to the team with an understanding of dependability for our equine herd.
* Demonstrated 5 years of equine experience.
* Ability to foster a positive work environment and encourage collaboration and teamwork.
* The individual should be capable of lifting moderate loads, 50lbs-75lbs. and have the ability to stand on their feet the majority of their scheduled shift.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* American Red Cross AED, CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
* Must be available to work Sundays.
