Responsibilities:-Assist Veterinarian in the safe handling of horses collecting and shipping of semen, artificial insemination, breeding and equine veterinary care.- Assist with X-ray procedures as needed.

- Assist with power float dental procedures.

-Feeding, mucking, sorting, handling equine patients at the center.

- Communicate and record ultrasound results as reported from the Veterinrian in charge to the clients.

-Receive and communicate orders and shipping status on the phone from clients.

- Arrange shipping and labeling.

Skills:- Horse handling experience preferred over technical experience depending on level of experience.- Knowledge of general equine care and husbandry.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with owners and veterinary team members.- Ability to handle equine animals with confidence, competance, care and compassion.- Familiarity with X-ray equipment and procedures (for candidates applying for technician roles involving X-ray).

- Familiarity with laboratory diagnostic equipment and blood draws for sample procesing and testing.
