Equipment Assembler- Fabrication Department

This position is responsible for assembling fabricated parts as needed. To cut, clean and prep material for welders and painters. Hydraulics knowledge is also required on being able to hook up hoses to manifolds and cylinders per prints.Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Cut parts as neededMust be capable of running the SawRead standard tape measure to assist with assembling equipmentDrilling and tapping holes as neededMake part ready for paintingMaintain and clean shop area and equipment (including tools) throughout shiftAssist with installation on hydraulicsRequirements:Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry (hand tools)Must be able to read tape as neededMust be able to use grinder as neededHydraulics installationMust be self-motivated and capable of performing without direct supervisionMust be capable of managing time efficientlySchedule:Monday - Friday, 7am 3:30pm (Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)Physical Demands:The description below is intended to describe the general content and requirements for the performance of this job but is not limited to:While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feelobjects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste orsmell.The employee must be able to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptionand the ability to adjust focus.
