Essential Job Duties
  • Vacuums and deep cleans main casino floors, hotel rooms, hotel lobby, hotel pool area, hotel spa/salon, bingo hall, buffet and assigned office areas.
  • Assists in the shampooing of the carpet in both casino and the hotel.
  • Sweeps and scrubs restroom floors. In both casino and the hotel.
  • Shampoos carpet in offices and upstairs hallways in the east and main buildings.
  • Strips, waxes and buffs the flooring. Throughout the casino and the hotel.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
  • Responsible for the deep cleaning of hotel rooms that have been treated by pest control.
  • Supplemental Job Duties
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Notifies supervisor of need for repairs.
  • Ensures any chemicals used are properly labeled in accordance to MSDS information and company procedures.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
  • Physical Requirements/Working Conditions May be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment. Lifting, pushing and pulling weight up to 45 pounds will be required. Significant bending, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling with long periods of standing and walking are required. This position will be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, odors and varying weather conditions. May require the use of protective safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Must be confidential. Minimum Job QualificationsKnowledge/Education/Work Experiences: Requires some relevant work experience. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission. Skills/Abilities: Must be flexible with work shifts and days off. Must be self - motivated, enthusiastic, and work as part of a team. Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements. Preference: Members of the Meskwaki Nation and other Native American Tribes who are qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will be given preference in accordance to established procedures. Restrictions This position is PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for team member tournament. Otherwise, this position may play any casino game while off duty. Team members and members of the household are prohibited from entering company contests and giveaways established for our guests.
