Job Description- Equipment Delivery Specialist (Nashville, TN)

Hours: Full-time hourly (40 hrs/week)

Job Location: Nashville, TN

Salary: $25-30/hr base + commission on delivery sales

Client is a new local equipment rental company disrupting the equipment rental space. We are a certified Kubota and Case equipment rental company based in Nashville, Tennessee, offering a mighty fleet of heavy duty construction-grade equipment. We are currently expanding our fleet through Case Construction mid-size equipment to facilitate further growth. We are committed to delivering the best equipment to service to our customers when they need it most.

About the role:

The Equipment Delivery Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, delivery, and pick-up of construction equipment to job sites. In addition, this role is responsible for providing customers with equipment briefing and troubleshooting minor maintenance and customer issues. This role requires a thorough understanding of various construction equipment, excellent driving skills, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and construction teams.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive heavy-duty trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment to and from job sites.
• Inspect equipment before and after transportation to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load pictures and additional fees into the rental database at dropoff and pickup.
• Provide debrief with customers on equipment general maintenance and obligations
• Load and unload equipment using appropriate methods and equipment (e.g., Skid steers, Excavators, attachments, ramps).
• Communicate effectively with construction teams regarding delivery schedules, equipment needs, and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of equipment usage.
• Moving and restocking High-end portable restroom trailers
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards during transport.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist in training new staff on proper equipment handling and delivery procedures.
• Resolve any delivery-related issues or challenges promptly and professionally.

Travel: 90% (Local)

Compensation

This position has an uncapped, competitive performance pay package with a guaranteed hourly, commission and performance based bonus payout.

Education/Experience:

CDL Class A; minimum 3 years of experience, 3-5 years construction equipment experience. Strong leadership and communication skills, customer service attitude and a willing, helpful demeanor is mandatory.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. Associates are required to verbally communicate, as well as have the ability to hear clearly in often noisy and chaotic environments.
