Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Equipment Maintenance, the Equipment Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and mechanical and electrical systems, evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability, and yield. Also performs equipment failure analyses, and unscheduled maintenance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses difficult problems with equipment. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Position Responsibilities:Performs minor and major repair of building, equipment, and machinery. Performs preventive maintenance services on forklifts and light trucks. Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Cleans and inspects machinery as required. Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment. Operates a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility system.
