In this role, you will be essential in keeping roads, trails, and facilities in good shapewhile using a range of vehicles and equipment. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, your responsibilities will include operating various types of equipment commonlyutilized for the general construction, maintenance, or grounds work, including snow removal and cindering operations. You will be tasked with preventative maintenance on equipment and will perform manual labor when not engaged in operating assigned equipment, while also serving as a lead worker when designated.   • Seasonal, full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November at which time the employee is placed on leave without pay.
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A; or
  • Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more: or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience or training.
Special Requirement:
  • This position requires possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Conditions of Employment:
  • This position requires possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with air brake restriction removed.
