Primary Purpose:
Assists in loading/offloading, securing, and transporting bulk and oversize material to various locations within the PECO service territory. Equipment vehicles include: Boom Trucks, tractor and trailers, Teledyne, Lull and forklifts.
Primary Duties:
1. Flexibility in reporting to remote work locations within the PECO Energy service territory
2. Available for shift work as required
3. Available for off-hours work opportunities
4. Must be able to safely rig and hoist material
5. Understands and can apply the proper method of securing outsize, oversize and bulk material for transport in accordance with CFR 49, Part 393 Subpart 1.
6. Trained in Use of Hand Signals
7. Experience with Rigging, and Slings/Hoisting heavy equipment/materials
8. Experienced working around energized equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years experience with rigging/hoisting heavy equipment and materials
- Trained in the use of hand signals for cranes
- Experience working around or near energized equipment
- OSHA Forklift certified or the ability to become OSHA Forklift certified
Preferred Qualifications:
- Class A CDL license with Hazmat endorsement
- Forklife experience
