Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is On-Site at the location detailed in the job post.Essential Job Functions - the basic job duties an employee must be able to perform:Perform manual labor such as mowing, erosion control, snow removal, and fence repairPerform airfield and landside paintingMaintain, repair, and replace concrete/asphalt surfaces and drainage systemsOperate mowing, light construction, and airfield snow removal equipmentEnsure all work is performed according to applicable safety regulationsPerform general grounds maintenanceHourly: $19.98 - $23.99Anticipated Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday; 8-hour shifts. Opportunity for overtime and occasional night work depending on project deadlines and operational requirements. Subject to on-call, emergency call-out and seasonal duties such as 12-hour rotating shifts for snow removal procedures when necessary.Certificates/Security Clearances/OtherIdeal candidates will also haveExperience with airfield and/or street snow removalExperience with all types of concrete repair and replacementExperience with all types of asphalt repair and replacementExperience with control tower radio communicationsAdditional InformationThis position requires on-call availability for snow removal operations.The selected candidate must pass (or have already passed) a fingerprint-based criminal history records check as required by the Transportation Security Administration.Physical Demands: Exerting 20-50 lbs. occasionally; 10-25 lbs. frequently; or up to 10 lbs. constantly.Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for candidates who demonstrate:Knowledge of:Practices, methods, and materials used in grounds maintenanceOccupational hazards and standard safety practicesAn ability to:Safely operate assigned vehicle, machinery, and equipmentLearn pertinent FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) airfield regulationsAdhere to Airport and FAA safety standardsSuccessful candidates will haveEquivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED)One year of full-time, professional experience in related fieldPossess, or obtain upon hire, and maintain a valid, non-probationary Colorado driver's license not subject to restriction related to alcohol and/or drug violations or pending chargesPossess or obtain within 12 months of start date, a valid non-probationary Colorado Class B CDL not subject to restriction related to alcohol and/or drug violations or pending charges is required for this positionTo be considered for this position you must register your CDL (COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE) WITH THE FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse atOne year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.
