Equipment Operator II (T&D)

Include operating various power-driven construction equipment such as, but not limited to: Excavator, Roller, tractors, backhoe, bulldozer, motor graders, and front-end loader Set up/operate production equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures Have basic mechanical knowledge and illustrate the abilities to inspect equipment Read hand signs provided by workers while moving, turning, swinging, lowering and raising materials with equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings May follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations Make decisions based on variable standards Will be responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment.
