Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLaborer / Machine OperatorSalary Range:35k-45kJob Summary:Running various equipment on jobsitesGeneral Labor required in tree work, pipe work, grading, ect.General AccountabilitiesOperates a skid loader, mini ex, chainsaw, truck and trailer non CDL dump truck and other similar heavy machine equipment.Measures and checks grades.Performs basic maintenance and minor repairs on a skid loader, mini ex, chainsaw and/or other heavy power equipment.Locates underground services before performing heavy equipment work.Monitors operations to ensure all health and safety standards are met.Shows leadership to crewAligns machines with reference to stakes, markers or guidelines and/or hand signals of other workers.Loads and moves dirt, rocks, materials and/or other equipment.Drives and maneuvers equipment to remove topsoil, rocks, vegetation and/or any other types of materials to distribute and level earth or terrain.Drives / backs truck and trailers.Drives non-cdl dump trucks*The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Job QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: At least three years of related experience; must have multiple valid referencesLicenses/Certifications: VALID state driver's license with CLEAN 5 YEAR RECORDSkills:*Driving *Leadership *Reliable *Punctual *Excellent verbal and written communication *Operation monitoring *Quality control analysis *Operation and control *Critical thinking *Monitoring
