Trumbo Electric, Inc. is seeking to hire talented and growth-minded individuals to join our team as an Electrician.We offer career opportunities that allow you to be part of a team and grow as an individual.Trumbo Electric, Inc. sponsors apprenticeship training and also offers various in-house educational opportunities.Our benefits package offers you:Seven Paid HolidaysPaid VacationPaid Health, Disability & Life InsuranceBonus PlanProfit Sharing PlanEducation ExpensesEmployee AssistanceAnd much more!The pay scale for this position is $40000 - $60000 / year.About us:Trumbo Electric, Inc., located in Broadway, VA was founded in 1948 and is the oldest electrical contractor in western Virginia and a pioneer in design build construction.Responsibilities:Comply with all safety standards, policies, and procedures.Operate equipment such as backhoe, skid loader, mini excavator.Maintain a clean work area, comply with housekeeping requirements.Assist Electricians with installation of PVC and GRS conduit.Install manholes and in-ground pull boxes.Ability to supervise 1-2 helpers.Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.Perform other job site duties as needed when not operating equipment.Layout and install light poles.Pour and finish concrete pole bases and pads for transformers, generators, and other electrical equipment.Physical Requirements:Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and frequently carry 40 lbs. unassisted.Ability to lift tools, pipe, and fixtures overhead.Ability to work at heights including climbing on ladders, scaffolding, and staircases.Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as bend, crouch, kneel, and work in small spaces.Must be able to use hands to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects.Other Requirements:Punctual and regular attendance.Ability to work on a team and interact with people.Ability to pass company equipment operator tests.Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure.Must have the ability to travel to job sites.Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures.Valid commercial driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy.If you are interested in:TeamworkSafety and Qualitythen a career with Trumbo Electric, Inc. may be right for you; we strive for excellence in all aspects of our work!If you are ready to join a growing, family-oriented company that puts their team members first, apply today!To complete an electronic application for employment, click here, save the document to your files, and send the saved document to Info@.
