Expected Pay Range: $18-20/hourSummary and ScopeThe General Laborer is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the Yard and Warehouse indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. The secondary responsibilities include the execution of contract work at job sites as assigned.Essential Functions
- Perform a variety of general labor tasks around the yard, including (but not limited to):
- Facility and grounds maintenance, general cleaning and organizing
- Mowing
- Trim work
- Trash removal
- Basic grounds repairs
- Basic equipment repairs under supervision
- Learn basic tools and how to use them appropriately
- Assist with packing, loading, and unloading trucks and equipment
- Keep tools and equipment components organized
- Read and interpret owner's manuals, equipment schematics and work orders
- Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required
- 1 year of experience in a maintenance position is required
- Must have an active driver's license
- OSHA 10 certification is desired
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is desired
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb and stand. Lifting of up to 50 lbs may occur. Employees will be required to travel (at organization expense) in automobile and/or aircraft. Expectation of exposure to weather (heat, cold, rain, snow) as operations occur in all areas of the country with potential for overseas travel.Expected Hours of WorkThe ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in workshop, facility, and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, hand tools, site equipment and vehicles, and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.TravelThis position requires up to10% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours' notice.Work Authorization
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
