Learn more Work Schedule:Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pmEquipment Services Inventory Specialist performs a variety of advanced journey-level work involving the procurement of materials and supplies for city vehicles and equipment; researching and ordering parts, supplies, and equipment; maintaining a current and accurate filing system, and receiving and inventorying parts and supplies.This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/ G.E.D.
    • OR an equivalency of 3 years of education and 3 years of related work experience in procurement materials, supplies for equipment, and inventory parts.
  • 1 year of automotive and truck parts experience.
  • Valid class C driver's license
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 3 years of automotive, equipment, and truck parts experience
  • Experience in inventory and utilizing automotive and truck parts catalogs for various equipment distribution
  • Evaluate the quality and price of products to judge the suitability of goods and/or provide alternative prices or product options
  • Work independently in the absence of supervision
