Equipment TechnicianTeam member's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of the company's heavy equipment assets as well as assisting as needed in all areas of Support Services. Report any variances to the Parts Manager and/or team member's immediate supervisorMust keep and maintain required tools to perform job functionsInspect equipment and hand tools and have deficient items repaired or replacedEnsure appropriate hoisting/rigging apparatus is within compliance  Take all necessary actions to repair the root cause of the failureMust be familiar with parts and components of complex machinery and enginesPerform routine preventive maintenance (PM) for equipmentNeed to be familiar with electronics, be able to read manuals, or use electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and perform repairsAbility to look at mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, identify problems and offer possible solutionsDiagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairsAssemble, disassemble, clean, examine parts for damage or wear, adjust, calibrate, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance on equipmentMaintain shop and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionKeep equipment, trucks and trailers clean, neat, and orderlyMust be able to complete task that may require bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching, crawling, and balancingCommunicate time away from work with your team leader with sufficient noticeWillingness to work hours as requiredEducation/Training/Certification:OSHA TrainingTechnical TrainingA/C CertificationHoisting/Rigging TrainingForklift CertificationMSHA TrainingFirst Aid/CPR* Sanford Contractors is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
