JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Equity Plan & Total Rewards Manager to support our comprehensive total rewards strategy. This position will report to the Head of Total Rewards and have responsibility for managing and administering the company's global equity compensation programs, with an additional focus on U.S. benefits integration. This role oversees equity-based incentives, ensures regulatory compliance, and works closely with HR and other departments to align equity and benefits strategies with the company's goals. The Equity Plan & Total Rewards Manager will also lead and mentor a Stock Plan Administrator who handles daily operational tasks.
The Equity Plan & Total Rewards Manager is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position based in our Portsmouth, NH office and reports to the Head of Total Rewards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equity, Compensation, Rewards Programs:- Manage the end-to-end administration of our broad-based global equity programs, including stock options, RSUs, performance-based awards, and ESPP.
- Proactive role in the delivery of recurring and custom reports to support financial statement disclosures for SEC filings, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, and proxy statements, as well as any other ad-hoc reports.
- Lead and mentor the stock plan administrator in managing daily operations and overarching responsibilities of equity plan administration. Drive process improvements and automation by utilizing Shareworks system capabilities to optimize efficiency and elevate the employee experience.
- Work with our legal and payroll teams to ensure compliance with global and local regulations related to equity plans, including tax laws, securities regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Develop and deliver educational resources to help employees understand their equity compensation; serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding equity plans.
- Design and implement reward and recognition programs that reinforce organizational values and drive employee motivation and engagement.
Benefits (North America):- Collaborate with HR team to align equity and benefits initiatives with organizational goals.
- Deliver strategic guidance on integrating equity compensation with broader compensation and benefits programs, ensuring employees have a comprehensive understanding of their total rewards package.
- Conduct benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness of our benefits programs.
Employee Support and Communication:- Design and deliver comprehensive educational resources to enhance employee understanding of their total rewards package.
- Lead initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and satisfaction with their total rewards offerings.
Data Analytics:- Prepare reports on equity plan metrics and benefits utilization; develop reporting tools to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover, and other critical data points.
- Partner with IT, HR, and external vendors to ensure that the HRIS integrates effectively with other HR systems (Success Factors, Shareworks, PayScale etc.) and supports strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CEP, CCP, GMS, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in global equity plan management.
- Experience administering global equity compensation plans, including ESPP, required.
- US benefit and compensation expertise preferred; OUS experience a plus.
- Experience in designing and communicating rewards and recognition programs.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience with Shareworks or similar equity platform required.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (Success Factors, Smartsheet, Payscale etc.) and employee engagement platforms preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad occasionally.
